These HDRIs, produced by world class photographers, have been captured using
advanced digital imaging technology and have been used to create the biggest and

HDRI - High Dynamic Range Images.
The human eye is able to process a huge dynamic range of light and shadow - one
which conventional digital photography cannot replicate. HDRIs are changing this.
Simply by taking each image a number of times and at multiple exposures, then
layering them, they are able to produce a final image - a HDRI. This is much closer
to what we can actually see - an image with a greater range of light and shadow than
conventional imaging.
The effects are stunning, as great as the difference is between black/white and
colour television.

Unlike a traditional digital photograph, an environment captured as a HDRI records
the intensity of all the light hitting a certain point. The new 3six0 stock library
HDRIs are taken with a SpheroCamHDR ® from Spheron GmbH ®, and consist of a massive
26 differing exposures. This information is then used to create a HDRI with
unsurpassed realism.
